February 2020

So the Material Girls kicked off the new decade with our third exhibition at The National Trust Rainham Hall.

The exhibition was a great success, with 357 visitors (including the Mayor of Havering) and lots of great comments in the visitors book. We are now starting research for our next exhibition in 2021 when THE MATERIAL GIRLS group will be 20 year old (we know we don’t look old enough).  We also  pleased to say we have a new member joining the group, more information to follow......

Patterns of Inspiration

Our exhibition has been at Alchemy Gallery, Barleylands Craft Village for nearly a week and will be there until 30th October. Just a few images of our work to whet your appetite, as you can see from these images it is very colourful.

Work must comes first!

Sadly due to increasing work commitments with her ‘day job’ Helen has decided to leave The Material Girls. She will be continuing to exhibit when she is able, we look forward to supporting her and seeing her future endeavours.
